Course:    Medication Management - 1 day
Date:        Tuesday 4th July - 9.30am - 4.30pm
Venue:     The Old Post Office, 73 Bawtry Road, Rotherham S66 2TN
Cost:        £30 per person including lunch and refreshments

Aims
This Medication Training Course is aimed at staff who are responsible for the handling, administering and disposal of medication within a care environment. Whether that be nurses, carers or community support workers. The Safer Medication Handling Training will aim to improve delegate’s knowledge of the different types of medication, the various routes, the 7’Rs, errors and correct documentation.
The aim is to teach delegates best practice and cover current regulations and legislation. The aim of this is to improve their confidence when dealing with service users and their medication.


Course:    Level 3 First Aid at Work - 3 days
Dates:      26th July, 2nd August & 9th August - 9.30am - 4.30pm each day
Venue:     The Old Post Office, 73 Bawtry Road, Rotherham S66 2TN
Cost:        £220 plus VAT including lunch and refreshments

It is a requirement of the Health & Safety law that employers provide a safe and healthy environment to work in. If your assessment of first aid needs highlights the need for qualified first aiders, then this level 3 qualification (level 6 in Scotland) will provide you with suitable, highly trained personnel.
This comprehensive three-day course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. In addition, this course will include any protocol changes that may have arisen since their last training course.
This course will give the participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Duration This course last approximately 6 hours Certification Delegates will be issued with certificates of attendance valid for a period of 1 year

Current Vacancy:
CO2 Training is a highly regarded and rapidly growing Care Training Provider. To meet demand we are seeking additional freelance trainers who share our passion for delivering high quality professional training to all our customers.
  • We provide face to face training and e-learning, working with many of the top care providers.
  • Our team of face to face clinical trainers are all practicing professionals with a nursing qualification (valid PIN is essential).
  • To join our team you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, an outgoing friendly personality and the confidence to deliver training across a range of clinical subjects to staff at all levels.
  • As the trainer you will draw on your own experience to enhance the training and have the skills to make every course enjoyable, participative and meet the learning needs of all attendees.
  • Courses delivered will be a range including Catheterisation, Venepuncture, Wound Care Management, Clinical Skills, DRE, Peg Training, Bowel Care, Diabetes, Epilepsy and Tissue Viability (this is not an exhaustive list).
  • You will have a recognised training qualification such as Level 3 Award in Education & Training, PTLLS, or CTLLS or equivalent.
  • Based from home, the role requires a significant amount of travel so you will need a full driving licence (maximum of 6 points) and your own car. Mileage is paid.
Salary: £150-£200.00 /day
Required experience:
  • training: 2 years

  • valid PIN with NMC
  • Driving License
